M.A.D.E. Leadership Academy (MLA) for Organizations

The Courageous Personal Leadership Model has become a critical tool in helping our clients clarify, craft, and step boldly into their leadership identity. Our programs offer unique immersion opportunities into the Four Principles of Courageous Personal Leadership.

The M.A.D.E. Leadership Academy (MLA) presents emerging and existing leaders with an opportunity to stop focusing on the “operations” and focus on the “operator.” Participants examine their current “leadership operating system”—things like how they show up, their level of self-awareness, and the extent to which you lead from your values—and determine if there are aspects that need to be redesigned, or simply removed. The MLA is designed as a deep dive into the Four Principles of Courageous Personal Leadership: Manage Your Internal Environment (self-awareness), Ask For What You Need (leadership voice + courageous communication), Decide To Take Risks (decision making + risk-taking), and Embody Your Personal Mission, Vision, and Values (authenticity + purpose).

Research is clear that when managers and leaders are effective in demonstrating the skills represented by the Four Principles of Courageous Personal Leadership, they are more confident, creative, and productive. In addition, they make better decisions, communicate more effectively, are stronger relationship builders, take more risks, garner more active support for their ideas, and have better personal well-being. Attendees spend time learning, practicing and reflecting on the principles in workshops with peers and meet 1:1 with a M.A.D.E. To Lead executive coach between the full-group sessions.

Organizations can opt for half-day, full-day, or multiple full-day experiences. The MLA typically runs for eight months.
